Privacy Policy

Transparency, security, and privacy regarding how LagZero processes device statistics, game shortcuts, and network performance metrics.

๐Ÿ“ฑ App: LagZero

1. Overview

Welcome to LagZero ("we", "our", or "us"), published by Tech Usama (available at https://techusama.com). We value your privacy and are committed to full transparency regarding data handling within our application.

This Privacy Policy outlines how LagZero handles device metrics and system connectivity. This document strictly complies with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, Google AdMob Policies, and international data privacy regulations.

๐Ÿ”’ Core Privacy Standard: LagZero does NOT collect, store, transmit, sell, or rent any personally identifiable information (such as personal identity, contacts, photos, or exact location) to external servers.

2. Technical Data Access

To display real hardware/network information and power its Quick Clean and Sensitivity features, LagZero reads the following on your device only โ€” none of it is uploaded to, or stored on, any server:

๐Ÿ“ถ Network Connectivity

Wi-Fi and mobile network availability status, and round-trip ping time to nearby servers, to show real connection quality.

๐Ÿ•น๏ธ Selective Installed Games

Checking if specific popular gaming packages exist on the device to populate your Game Launcher dashboard.

๐Ÿ“Š Device Hardware Stats

RAM usage, free storage, battery level/temperature/charging power, display refresh rate, and chipset/GPU model โ€” shown to you as read-only information, never altered.

๐Ÿ†” Basic Device Diagnostics

Android OS version and basic device specs for interface rendering and stability.

๐Ÿงน What "Quick Clean" actually does: it clears LagZero's own app cache and asks Android to reclaim memory โ€” the same thing manually clearing an app's cache in Android Settings does. Like any third-party app, LagZero has no ability to modify system settings, other apps, or your device's hardware behavior.

3. Game Package Visibility (<queries>)

LagZero does NOT use broad package visibility permissions (such as QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES). Instead, we respect user privacy by declaring specific intent queries (via Android <queries>) exclusively for supported games.

This allows the app to detect if specific games (e.g., PUBG Mobile, BGMI, Free Fire, Call of Duty Mobile, Minecraft, Roblox, GTA series, Bus Simulator) are installed on your device so you can launch them directly from the app layout.

4. Analytics

LagZero uses Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used โ€” which screens are opened, which buttons/features are used, and whether an action (like generating a sensitivity recommendation or redeeming Invite & Unlock points) succeeded or failed. This helps us find bugs and improve the app.

  • Analytics events are tied to Firebase's own installation identifier for your app instance, not to your name, email, or any account โ€” LagZero has no login/account system at all.
  • Analytics activity is only recorded while you're actively using the app.
  • See Google's own Firebase privacy and security policy for how Firebase itself handles this data.

5. Invite & Unlock (Referrals)

LagZero includes an optional "Invite & Unlock" feature: you can share a personal link, and when a friend genuinely installs the app from it, you're credited points redeemable for ad-free credits. This feature works as follows:

  • Anonymous device ID: on first use of this feature, the app generates a random identifier on your device (not your name, email, phone number, or any hardware identifier like IMEI/Android ID) and stores it locally, so your points balance and referral code can be looked up later. This ID is never linked to any other personal information.
  • Install attribution: to confirm a friend's install genuinely came from your link, the app uses Google Play's own official Install Referrer API โ€” the same mechanism Play Store itself provides for this exact purpose. No third-party attribution/tracking SDK is used.
  • What's stored on our server: the anonymous device ID, your referral code, your points balance, and how many installs it has generated โ€” nothing more.

6. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To keep LagZero free to use, we integrate official Google services and ad networks. These services may collect non-sensitive device identifiers according to their respective policies:

Service Provider Purpose Data Collected Privacy Policy
Google AdMob / GAM Mobile Banner, Native & Interstitial Ads Advertising ID, IP Address, Device Identifiers Google Ad Policy
Google Play Services App Core Services & In-App Updates App version diagnostics and system compatibility metrics Google Privacy Policy
Firebase Analytics Usage analytics โ€” screens/features used, so we can find bugs and improve the app App instance identifier, screen views, feature-usage events (no name/email/account) Firebase Privacy Policy

You can manage or opt out of personalized ad targeting via your Android device settings: Settings โ†’ Google โ†’ Ads โ†’ Reset/Delete Advertising ID.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, LagZero shows Google's own consent form (via Google's User Messaging Platform) the first time you open the app, so you can choose whether ads are personalized before any ad request is made. You can find more detail on how Google's advertising partners handle consent at Google's EU User Consent Policy.

7. Android Manifest System Permissions

LagZero explicitly declares only essential permissions in its AndroidManifest.xml. Each permission is tied directly to functional features:

  • android.permission.INTERNET: Required to download ad content via Google AdMob and calculate network ping responses.
  • android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Allows checking whether the device is connected to Mobile Data or Wi-Fi.
  • android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Allows verifying Wi-Fi status for latency testing.

8. Data Security & Storage

Minimal remote storage: most application settings, game shortcuts, and gaming statistics are processed and stored locally on your physical device. The only data our server stores is the sensitivity-preset content itself, and โ€” only if you opt into Invite & Unlock โ€” the anonymous device ID/referral data described in Section 5. We do not own, operate, or maintain any other external user database.

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

LagZero does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has accessed the app and provided personal information, please contact us at contact@techusama.com for immediate assistance.

10. User Rights & App Removal

You retain complete control over the app's data and usage on your device:

  • Clear Cache & Data: You can clear all cached settings at any time via Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ LagZero โ†’ Storage โ†’ Clear Data.
  • Uninstallation: Uninstalling the application instantly removes all local configuration data and associated app files from your device.
